Hi Iona and Good Nick. Um, thank you so much, first of all, for giving me this opportunity to speak to you.
Um, firstly, what was my health like before I started Good Nick? Well, I was pretty good, actually. It’s not bad at all from an aerobic point of view. Um, I love dancing, I love running.
Um, basically, I thought I was okay until a time when I tried to get up off the floor and I was groaning, and I had to hold on to things to pull myself up, which seems crazy because I felt, I felt fine.
Um, that’s said, uh, I then started finding it difficult to get off chairs and little things like that, and they would definitely have an effect.
One thing I didn’t realize is that when I went out for a walk, I was actually really tired. I couldn’t understand why I was particularly tired, but I’ve realized now through doing the program, I’ve suddenly got muscles in my legs, and my legs actually work. I’m not just dragging them along, and that is a real big thing for me.
Um, we go on lots of walks and, and all of a sudden I’m keeping up with people, and yeah, feel really great about it.
Um, what drew me to Good Nick? Well, to be perfectly honest, um, I don’t normally do these sort of things online, but it’s two weeks free, so why, why not try?
So I did my two weeks and, uh, I noticed a difference in two weeks, which just seems crazy to me, especially as the exercises to start with are so, supposedly, easy, or they look easy. Um, you don’t think it’s going to make that effect, going to have that effect on you, and it really did.
So, um, yeah, I did it for two weeks and then that straight away I said, I am signing up for nine weeks. If I can do this in two weeks, what’s going to happen in nine weeks? Which I did, and at the end of that it was a no-brainer.
It, it, it thought it was a lot of money for me to pay out, and I don’t normally pay that out, but that just goes to show how much I believed in it.
Um, I’ve been with Club now 8 months and, uh, definitely going to sign on for another year. I absolutely love it.
Um, my problem has always been, uh, putting things off, and I have been consistent, and I know although I might miss a day, I will always do it the following day, and I don’t think I’ve missed a class.
Um, I’m sorry, I’ve noticed I’ve been going on a bit. It’s now 2:47, but just very quickly, if I was speaking to somebody else, I would say to them, start now.
I wish I’d started this in my 50s. I’m now mid-60s, and if I’d started in my 50s, I would be amazing now. Um, but I am starting to feel amazing again. I’m starting to feel like I was in my 40s, so that says something.
That’s what I would tell people: start now. Look at me. Okay, bye. Thanks. See you.
